Big Church Day Out – Skyline

The flags and wheel formed a feature of the skyline throughout this weekend event.  Excellent music from a whole host of bands, camping with great friends and a magnificent weekend of weather made this a superb event.  Even managed a few grab shots having taken just my camera with a basic lens.  More pictures to follow when the processing is done!

Photographically you can easily tell this is not quite sunset!  I have shot straight into the sun and without a lenshood.  I think it was about an hour and a half before sunset so although the sky was going yellow/orange it was helped a little by raising the temperature slightly in post-processing.  I like the composition on this one but the rendering of the sun leaves quite a bit to be desired.
